SMAUG at UNVEX 2024
Juan-Román Martínez Arranz from Indra, coordinator of the SMAUG project, participated in UNVEX 2024, Europe’s premier event dedicated to the uncrewed systems community. The event took place in Barcelona, Spain, from June 4 to 5, 2024, bringing together professionals across mobility, security, and commercial applications and spanning all operational domains: air, sea, and land. UNVEX fosters professional dialogue among stakeholders by integrating diverse applications and domains, making it an essential platform for collaboration and innovation in the sector.
On the opening day, the SMAUG project was presented during Session 4.2 – Security: Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS). The presentation provided an in-depth overview of the project’s goals and objectives, emphasizing its groundbreaking approach to enhancing maritime security and port protection.
